Other things we’ve been making and eating! Lemon cake and pineapple upsidedown cake, little choux balls with sugar crystals and grainy bread! Also of course the famous Galette des Rois - this one with apple filling instead of the usual frangipane - they’re served through January to mark Epiphany.

A grape sponge cake with Muscat grapes from our Sunday market with a spiced wine reduction sauce and sabayon. Yum!
